Summer 2020 information will be available in the spring!

Drop-In Programming
At each unit, members belong to an age group that rotates between different areas of the Club participating in daily high-yield activities that focus on social, emotional and cognitive skill development. Members also participate in a variety of targeted programs that include Sports & Recreation, Visual & Digital Arts, Health & Life Skills, Education & Career Development, and Character & Leadership. To participate in summer programs, youth must be members.

Lake Street Unit
1st-12th grade: 1:00-6:00 p.m., Mon-Fri
Teen Night: Tue & Thu 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Dinner served daily at 4:00 p.m.

Douglass Unit
1st-12th grade: 3:30-8:00 p.m., Mon-Fri
No Teen Night
Dinner served daily at 5:00 p.m.

Northeastern Unit
1st-12th grade: 1:30-6:00 p.m., Mon-Fri
No Teen Night
Dinner served daily at 4:30 p.m.

Arts Academy

Summer Arts Academy is a FREE Arts Camp that runs Mondays through Fridays from 9 am - 1 pm, with a final performance the last week. This 9 week program is offered to members in 1st-6th grade. Kids will learn skills in the areas of visual arts, drama, music, and dance, with digital media integrated in each area. Each week, students will build upon previous week’s pieces that will be a part of the final showcase.

Summer Arts Academy Requirements:

-Student must be going into 1st grade through 6th grade to attend.

- Student must be a member of the Boys & Girls Club to attend.

- Student is allowed no more than 10 absences.

- Student cannot be absent the last week to ensure that he/she is able to participate in the Summer Arts Academy Showcase.

Attendance Policy:

If your child is going to be absent from the Summer Arts Academy, please contact the Boys & Girls Club to inform us of the absence. Be aware that if your child incurs 10 or more absences from Summer Arts Academy, he/she will automatically be dropped from the program. Due to limited space, Boys & Girls Club asks that you do not enroll in Summer Arts Academy if you intend to enroll your child in other summer long programs. [i.e. Summer School].
